COLEFORD SET TO PARTY ON BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND

 

The Bleeding Hearts will headline a Coleford Music Festival party at Bells club on 23^rd May 2008.

 

The Bleeding Hearts were Sundays headliners on the main stage last year & always draw a very appreciative audience with their uplifting energetic fast folk violins and big guitar.

Banshee will also be playing & putting on a performance which will be popular with both young & not so young with lots of dancing, singing and audience participation.

Other bands are still to be confirmed.

 

The event will also be the launch for a new monthly music club organised to raise funds for next years Coleford Music festival.  The doors will open at 7.30pm and the cost will be £5 on the door. We anticipate that this will be a popular event with a limited number of tickets available so if you want to reserve your place please email your contact details to contactus@colefordfestival.co.uk  

 

It is also planned to have a Battle of the DJs on Sunday 25th May 2008 as one of the latest CMF fundraisers at Magnums in Coleford.

 

Open to local DJs only, the Prizes to the winning DJ will be £50 cash, £50 drinks voucher, Personalised 30min DVD Visuals Disc, Framed ‘Battle of the DJs Winner 2008′ CMF and possibly another unique bonus prize as well.

The criteria will be to play a 15min set in heats – with a 30min play off.

£ 2.50 entry to public – free entry to competing DJs. Over 18s only!
